Terms and Conditions
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, or refunded. If the performance is sold out we will try our best to resell your tickets. We will refund your tickets should a performance be cancelled.
Tickets cannot be offered for sale from within the Braintree Arts Theatre except from the Box Office by our ticketing team.
Only tickets purchased by the Box Office or approved agents are valid for admission.
Some performances may have specific conditions of sale, such as age restrictions. These will be listed on the event pages for that event on our website. We ask you to check this prior to purchase, as we cannot refund tickets for those who do not meet the specified conditions.
Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person for certain events.
Braintree Arts Theatre reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme, but will avoid doing so wherever possible. Our website is constantly updated, and will have the most up to date information.
Tickets are required for each person attending a performance, regardless of age. Some performances and/or specific seating areas may have age restrictions. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check any restrictions before they purchase tickets.
Ticket prices are subject to change. Braintree Arts Theatre reserve the right to change the prices of Tickets and/or introduce discounts/special offers which cannot be retrospectively applied to Tickets already purchased.
Every effort to admit latecomers will be made but admission cannot always be guaranteed immediately.
It is against the law to smoke or use an ecigarette in the theatre or any other part of the building.
The unauthorised use of cameras, audio and video equipment is not permitted. Purchase of a ticket means you consent to filming, photography and sound recording which may include you as a member of the audience and its use in commercial distribution without payment or copyright.
For security reasons, we may ask to search your bag, please do not be offended by this as it is simply a safety measure.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices are distracting to other audience members. We ask you to ensure they are switched off, as not to disrupt the performance.
Braintree Arts Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission, with the final decision being made by the duty manager.
We reserve the right to block access to the Braintree Arts Theatre web site, or to cancel a booking, when we believe that a person is using automated means to check availability or purchase tickets.
You agree that you will not use any software or technology that could interfere with the performance of, or place an unreasonably large load on the Braintree Arts Theatre web site.
Loud music can damage hearing. Please be aware that for most musical performances the speakers will be located at the front of the stage.
Braintree Arts Theatre accepts no responsibility for any personal property brought to the venue.
Customers planning on driving to the Braintree Arts Theatre are advised not to leave valuables in their car, as Braintree Arts Theatre can take no responsibility for theft, damage, or loss - to vehicles or their contents.
CCTV is in operation on the premises for the purposes of crime prevention and detection.
Braintree Arts Theatre reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The new terms and conditions are active upon publication on the web site.
